TRIBUTE TO FIDDLE >>>   Miss you Sweet Boy
"Fiddle" at our home in Springdale Newfoundland where we lived from May '06, to October '07 when he helped me to get to the hospital and stayed with me through my recovery.   He stayed with me for a year after the surgery >>> helping me to begin to walk again and when spring came I was well enough to go up the road and sometimes we visited the horses.   In June we went up the mountain at Sutton and he accompanied me to the Health Club several times a week to see me get back onto my feet and able to pick the dogs up again and get them groomed.   We went to a couple of dogshows together in August and September of '08.

Pictured below with he and some of his family members and some of our trips and adventures.   Every day I was grateful to have this boy by my side .... faithful and loyal and caring and intelligent and kind >>>   He is very very missed by the rest of the family.   We are going to try to learn to live without him.

Maybe his grand daughter "trixie" or her younger sister "grizzly" will someday present us with an heir to some of his fine qualities to carry this wonderful family of Collies on.

Thank you for dropping in and I hope that you can capture some of the kindness and intelligence that you can see in this dogs face and eyes >>>   what a wonderful boy and I hope that you enjoy this little tribute to his life.
"Fiddle" at his home in Nfld where he lived from May '06 to when he helped me to go to the hospital and save my life and help me through my recovery in October '07.   He stayed with me for one year after, helping through the winter when I could barely walk and taking me to the health club a few times a week to get me back on my feet, and walking in the spring when he could see that I was just getting back to normal sized steps again.   He was so proud and willing to be there for me, or for anyone needing him, all of his Life.   He was a Wonderful Boy.
"fiddle" with his grand daughter "Grizzly Bear".   Thank you to Yvon and Carolle Pelletier for these pics and also the ones taken at Ottawa Show '07.   Thank you also for taking good care of "Grizz" and for welcoming us into your home and for watching the young dogs while "fiddle" took me to the hospital.

I used to say to him:   "Logan and Ritzi really knew what they were doing when they put you together!!"   What a wonderful gift they gave me in him, in the latter years of their life.   They "snuck off" together and presented me with this wonderful litter.
