Yes, "Lucky" is finally coming together and being a "somebody". Slow maturity is a good trait.
We had a peaceful 2008, attending to our medical needs and recovery until October between hospital, six months in an auberge, with the help of friends when we were unable to get around much. At scenic West Brome Quebec. Then we journeyed up the mountain to fabulous Mont Sutton. Stayed there during the off-season. Spent some time doing health club in gorgeous Sutton, Quebec >>> and later rented their gym and had a nice session of show handling and novice obedience.
We whelped "trixie's" long awaited litter from our "colt" in december and spent the winter beside the whelping box.
We look forward to a wonderful 2009, travelling back to our home after a "too long" absence, >>> growing up these babies and introducing the maritimes and atlantic canada to our family of quality Collies.

Great grandmother to "Lucky"; our "Flame" TOKEN'S BURNIN' DOWN THE HOUSE. leased to LaPomone in 2000 and this be who we retrieved a few generations later. We hope to see "lucky" continue to mature and maybe carry some of the traits of the fabulous "family" behind our "flame". "Flames" parents are the fine dogs: CH TOKEN'S ONLY THE PIANOPLAYER and AM/CDN CH TOKEN'S PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ TT HC ROM.

TOKEN' DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH. "Chip"
Start our show season off with an exciting first time out to a puppy match. Well, this little guy: "Chip" >>> he was not getting outmoved by anyone in the herding ring!!! Did he ever love it, and gave his all to showing off his legs and keeping up with the big dogs.
The judge was kind enough to tell him that he was the third best dog in the group this day!!! We are so proud of this promising young fellow.

She is obviously very stressed out in this dog show environment!!! Lapping up the attention of our Hostess at the B&B "Bonne Nuit Bonne Reves" (means: Good night sweet dreams, as I understand it.)
